It's my great pleasure to come to Kozminski University once again to attend this seminar. The topic is "China and USA", which in my opinion is well chosen. This year coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the United States. There are indeed many issues worth reflecting and reviewing.

Wizyta Ambasadora Kawada w Poznaniu

4 grudnia 2019 roku Ambasador Kawada złożył wizytę w Poznaniu, gdzie wygłosił przemówienie podczas ceremonii otwarcia międzynarodowej konferencji pt. „Connections. Between the word, the sound and the image. A centenary of Polish-Japanese diplomatic relations” na Uniwersytecie im. Adama Mickiewicza. Ponadto spotkał się również z Prorektor UAM prof. Katarzyną Dziubalską-Kołaczyk oraz prof. Esterą Żeromską.

Seminar on "Sustainable Production and Trade Development" in Warsaw

On December 4, a seminar with the title "Sustainable Production and Trade Development" was held. Present as a guest speaker, i.e Dr. Bandung Sahari (Astra Argo, private companies), Dr. Yohannes Kadarusman (PPM, academician), Dr. Malgorzata Roge-Wisniewska (Polish RSPO Coalition) share their views on Indonesian palm oil sustainability.

Spotkanie Ambasadora Francji z polskimi absolwentami francuskiego szkolnictwa wyższego

Z okazji 3. rocznicy powstania sieci absolwentów France Alumni Pologne, w dniu 28 listopada 2019 r. Frédéric Billet, Ambasador Francji w Polsce, spotkał się z polskimi absolwentami francuskiego szkolnictwa wyższego. Wśród nich obecni byli byli stypendyści rządu francuskiego, absolwenci licznych programów podwójnych dyplomów polsko-francuskich czy studenci, który na studiach wyjechali do Francji, absolwenci studiów francuskojęzycznych w Polsce, takich jak filologie romańskie, a także absolwenci Ecole nationale d’administration czy Kolegium Europejskiego w Natolinie, byli uczniowie Liceum Francuskiego w Warszawie czy też Polacy pracujący w firmach francuskich w Polsce.

Inauguracja Austriackiego Tygodnia Kultury w Gdańsku

29 listopada w Teatrze Szekspirowskim w Gdańsku odbyła się inauguracja Austriackiego Tygodnia Kultury, organizowanego we współpracy z Austriackim Forum Kultury w Warszawie, Austriackim Urzędem Kanclerskim oraz Fundacją Theatrum Gedanense. Tydzień Kultury Austriackiej potrwa od 29 listopada do 7 grudnia 2019 roku. W ramach tej inicjatywy, na którą składa się blisko 15 różnych wydarzeń organizowanych zarówno w Teatrze Szekspirowskim, jaki i w innych lokalizacjach w Gdańsku, zaprezentowane zostaną różnorakie aspekty współczesnej kultury austriackiej, z teatrem i literaturą jako centralnymi elementami.

The annual AfryKamera Festival will screen movies in Warsaw, Kraków, Gdansk, Poznań and Wrocław. Please consult the schedule for the list of movies and screening dates/times.The Warsaw segment will run from 12-19 December 2019 at Kinoteka, Palace of Culture and Science, and will include three South African movies:• Knuckle City, drama produced by Jahmil X.T. Qubeka [South African entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards (2020 Oscars)]• Sew the winter to my skin, another drama produced by Jahmil X.T. Qubeka; and• 8, horror film produced by Harold Hölscher. The South African Embassy is a sponsor of AfryKamera 2019.

Ciclo de cine peruano contemporáneo en Varsovia, Polonia

La Embajada del Perú en Polonia, contando con la valiosa colaboración del Instituto Cervantes de Varsovia, presenta actualmente un ciclo de películas contemporáneas peruanas. De este modo, se difunde el acervo cultural y artístico de la cinematografía nacional, así como la labor de directores peruanos de reconocida trayectoria y de jóvenes nuevos valores. En el marco de dicho ciclo el público tendrá la oportunidad de apreciar algunos largometrajes, cuya selección se realizó con la cooperación del Ministerio de Cultura del Perú.
